Welcome to Road to Festivals! This is where I intend to highlight my favorite DJs by giving them a personally tailored cocktail to fit their well deserved status. In these off months leading up to festival season (Spring/Summer) I will make drinks based on some of the best in the game from newer artist like Marshmello to the old school of Daft Punk and Tiesto.

I am starting out strong by going with a DJ that I’ve been rocking out to for over 20 year, Calvin Harris. I’ve come up with a drink that showcases his geographical origin, and fits the festival spirit of a light easy sipper. This drink is about as Scottish as I could make while still being light and refreshing. This is my Scottish take on a Moscow Mule. Any good scotch will do, but I used Johnny Walker as it is a blended Scotch with a Lowland scotch as its base to fit Calvin Harris’ origin of Dumfries Scotland.

Calvin Harris

• 2 oz. Johnny Walker Red
• 1 oz. Dundee Marmalade
• ¼ oz. Lemon Juice
• Top with Ginger Beer

Garnish with Mint and Orange Wheel
