Tiësto

Tiësto is nicknamed "The Godfather of EDM" and justly so. He's been around for decades, and in my research on him I came across an article in a Las Vegas newspaper where he detailed his preferred drinks before playing. He stated he likes to start off with champagne, take a shot of Jäger before performing, and drink apple juice and vodka during a set. Now that is a tall order. Worthy of his status of EDM legend.

Granted the article was from 2009, but this did pose a fun challenge of mixing all of that chaos into one drink. Taking a few liberties I think I did just that. Adding lemon juice for some bitter tartness, and subbing sparkling apple cider for the apple juice and champagne side.

Tiësto Sound Check Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 oz Vodka
• 1/2 oz Jäger
• 1/4 oz of lemon juice
• Shake and strain over ice
• Top with sparkling apple cider
